Josh Jalinski

PRESIDENT & FINANCIAL QUARTERBACKTM

Josh Jalinski has been selected as a Five Star Wealth Manager in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. He was named as an Advisor of the Year finalist (only 5 are selected each year in the country) by Senior Market Advisor August 2010 magazine, a leading financial industry publication. He has also been selected for the Top of the Million Dollar Round Table, an association of financial professionals. Josh has attained elite status in the Top of the Table for eight years (only the top one-tenth of 1% make this category). Josh teaches people how they may be able to lower risk, minimize taxes, and maximize wealth!
Josh is the host of the popular Financial Quarterback TM Show heard every Saturday from 9am-11am on WOR News Talk Radio (NYC) 710 AM he manages tactical financial investment portfolios. Josh is the host a weekend radio show on WOR and WABC,where he discusses investment strategies and various other crucial economic topics. He has been featured as an expert guest on numerous media sources including CNBC, Fox Business News, CBS News, and Bloomberg.

Chris Meyer

Vice President of Wealth Management

Christopher W. Meyer graduated from LaSalle University and Christian Brothers Academy. He holds his series 7 and 66 licenses. Chris has spent over seven years working side-by-side Josh. After working for a non-profit, Chris became Josh’s right-hand man through hard work and dedication. As Josh says, “I have worked with and coached many elite advisors over the years, but Chris has been my protege.  He has great work ethic, financial intelligence, and client care.  Chris reminds me of myself in many ways and has become one of my most trusted business relationships. I couldn’t do what I do without him. I love Chris’ kindness, easy-going nature and self-control.” He is the Vice President of Wealth Quarterback LLC and Jalinski Advisory Group, Inc. He is married to his lovely wife Andrea. They reside in Monmouth County with their beloved dog.

Paul Murphy (CFP®)

CFA, Chartered Financial Analyst

 

Attended Iona College, earned a BBA in Finance 1982. I applied myself to various analytical and supervisory roles over the next 25 years at several brokerage firms, investment funds, and hedge funds. My responsibilities were, performing security analysis and valuation, profit and loss reporting, and other analytical and supervisory roles. I earned the CFA designation (Chartered Financial Analyst) in 2001.

All the while, I had a keen interest in what it takes for an individual to achieve economic well-being. I always kept current on ever-changing tax laws, retirement strategies, and the financial solutions promoted by the big financial firms. I was amazed at the complexity of it all. So not one to back down from a challenge, I decided, in 2009, to shift my focus from helping fund managers succeed to helping individuals succeed.

I earned my Certified Financial Planner designation which tested my comprehensive knowledge in many areas that affect our financial security. Among the topics covered were, investments, public and private insurance, social security rules, tax laws, trusts, wealth transfer concepts, etc. I joined Jalinski Advisory Group after listening to Josh on the radio regularly. I left a multi-national insurance company to join Jalinski, because I feel my career goals are more aligned with Josh’s; that is, more independence on deciding financial solutions for our clients and employing a holistic, multi-faceted approach to financial security. Now, I consider myself “pro-individual”, that is, showing people how to protect and prosper.

I live in Manhasset, on Long Island, with my wife Marilyn, and children Stephen and Anne, 15 and 14, and our dog Beji, a bichon-frise mix.

Jim Minutella*

Director of Office Services

Jim Minutella is the Director of Office Services at Jalinski Advisory Group. He is responsible for processing client brokerage applications, client relations and liaising for Regus Remote offices. He also managed the transition and education of Jalinski Advisory Group’s clients to Interactive Brokers.

Prior to joining Jalinski Advisory Group, Jim worked for 30 years in Corporate Sales and Account Management with Source Data Corporation, a value added reseller of technology products and services working with Fortune 1000 companies. Jim’s greatest strengths are his multitasking abilities, laser focus on client service, drive and leadership. He is married with three grown children and enjoys spending free time with his family or playing guitar. He has been the Missions Chairperson at Bayside Chapel in Barnegat, NJ for the past 10 years.

JoAnn Mugavero

Registered Assistant of Office Services

JoAnn Mugavero is the registered assistant of Office Services at Jalinski Advisory Group. JoAnn is responsible for processing client brokerage applications, client relations, and review of the corporations’ internal controls, policies and procedures to ensure that such controls conform to regulations.

Prior to joining JAG, JoAnn worked 30 years in the Financial Services industry. Her diverse background includes project leadership, portfolio management, fixed income marketing, and trade execution.

JoAnn demonstrates determination, independence, initiative, and the ability to learn quickly and to apply these skills proactively. A proven resourceful problem-solver with strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.

She is married with 2 grown children. In her free time, JoAnn likes to spend time with family. She enjoys fitness training, weight lifting, indoor and outdoor cycling.

Elaine Lewis*

Director of Retirement Income Planning Services

Elaine Lewis is Sr. Director of Insurance Services at Jalinski Advisory Group, with responsibility for Life Insurance and Fixed Indexed Annuities. Elaine’s efforts have supported Jalinski Advisory Group in reaching a high of $1 million in life insurance premiums in 2016 with one carrier, and over $16 million in annuity sales with another carrier in 2015.

Prior to joining Jalinski Advisory Group, she worked for 25 years in the Banking and Financial Services industry in Retail and Commercial services, Private Banking/Wealth Management, Trust/Estates and Investment services. She earned her New Jersey Insurance Producers License (2013) and passed the Series 6 Exam (2009).

Elaine’s greatest strengths are Client Servicing, as Clients are our greatest asset. She excels at meeting with clients, explaining products and addressing their concerns. Elaine and her husband have lived in Jackson, NJ for 27 years where they raised their two boys. In her free time, she likes to relax, read and spend time with family and friends.

Tina Buckridge*

Scheduling Director

Tina will be the first friendly voice you hear when contacting the Jalinski Advisory Group. As an Administrative Assistant with her excellent client service skills, Tina is the key leader in supporting the daily activities for the Advisors. Her great organizational skills in scheduling client meetings plays a huge role in the success of the Jalinski Advisory Group.

Marilyn Jalinski*

Director of First Impressions

Marilyn is our director of first impressions. She is always there to welcome you to the Jalinski family. At our firm, we treat clients like members of the family. She is also an assistant scheduler and greeter to our clients. Her duties are to answer incoming calls, directing the calls to team members and greeting clients. Prior to joining JAG, Marilyn was an office administrator for over 30 years of customer service experience. She also spent 17 years with America’s Keswick, a powerful non-profit ministry dedicated to helping those struggling with addiction. Marilyn’s greatest strength is her ability to make our clients feel welcomed and cared for.

Marilyn has been married to Bill for 51 years. They have 4 children and 9 grandchildren. In her free time, she likes to play with her grandkids, shop (according to Josh she watches too much QVC), go to Disney World and go to the beach.

Bill Jalinski*

Special Assistant to the President

Bill oversees our document system and copying services. Without him, Josh wouldn’t have been able to start this business. Prior to joining JAG, he spent 30 plus years in the financial services industry with Sovereign Bank and Jersey Shore Savings and Loan. His experience in Community Banking led Josh to create an “old-school financial firm” built on relationships and trust. Josh is so proud of his dad’s heritage of faith in God and family. As Josh puts it, “Dad has always been there for me. When I started the firm on my own when I was twenty-three, Dad was there cheering me on. I couldn’t have done it without him.” Bill’s greatest strengths are his attention to details and his work ethic. Bill has been married for fifty-one years to Marilyn and they have 4 children and 9 grandchildren. In his free time, he likes to go to sporting events, read about history, and walk his dog Tegan.
